Originally from Texas, photographer Keith Dotson now calls Nashville, Tennessee, home. His work—shot primarily in black and white to infuse images with texture and contrast—showcases the silent beauty of nature. “As an artist, I celebrate the simple things: rain, barren tree branches, drifting snow flakes, the sound of breezes in treetops, reflections in a sun-dappled brook, fog in the early morning, natural patterns and textures,” he says. Dotson's photographs have been exhibited nationwide, have appeared in TV shows and commercials, and have been reproduced on calendars, note cards, canvas wraps, and other retail products.
